- Go to settings.
- Scroll down and tap on the General option.
- Scroll down again and select the Reset option.
- On the Reset screen, touch Erase All Content and Settings.
- Next, you may need to enter the password of your device.

- Go to settings.
- Tap your name.
- Go to iCloud > Find My iPhone > Find My iPhone, but in iOS 13 and above, you only need to tap Find My.
- Now disable the Find My iPhone slider.
- Tap the Find My option on the left corner to return to the previous page. Now click the Apple ID option at the top of the page to go back one page again.
- On the Apple ID page, scroll down and tap Sign Out to sign out of your Apple ID account. You will probably need to enter your Apple ID password at this point.
